Leona was imported in 2018 from Gran Canarias, Spain.  She is the daughter of Spanish CH Arico de Samcor and Tromba de BreiverCan.  An XL presa canario female, intelligent and fierce.  She is now just 18 months and has a little more development to accomplish.  Her confidence is perfection, her guard drive high, prey drive low, and she has proven to be a wonderful family companion.  We expect big things from this girl in the 2019 season and are impressed with her athletic ability and stamina for her size. Agile and very cat-like in her movement, her favorite game of catch and retrieve can last for hours.  The presa canario should have a very cat-like look to their movement, and can even be seen "stalking" like a lion.
